Working together at Remolity
Our approach to work
At Remolity, we believe great work is built on trust, clarity, and the ability to contribute effectively—not on sharing the same office.
Our remote-first approach combines flexibility with clear responsibilities, thoughtful communication, and respect for individual working time.
We aim to create an environment where people can focus on meaningful contributions, collaborate across locations, and understand what is expected of them.
Our philosophy is simple: flexibility works best when paired with accountability, transparency, and mutual respect.
Who this policy applies to
This policy describes working arrangements within Remolity, Inc.
It does not describe employment or project conditions offered by independent companies, employers, clients, or partner platforms whose opportunities appear on Remolity.
Those organizations establish their own eligibility requirements, compensation, work schedules, benefits, assessment procedures, and contractual terms.
Arrangements for independent contractors engaged by Remolity are governed by their respective agreements.
Where individual agreements or applicable employment requirements establish specific conditions, those conditions govern the relevant working relationship.
Remote work and approved locations
Remolity follows a remote-first approach to work.
Team members may work remotely from approved locations that support reliable connectivity, a suitable working environment, and the confidentiality required for their responsibilities.
Remote work does not automatically authorize working from every country or jurisdiction.
Relocation or temporary work from another country requires prior written approval where applicable.
Such requests may need to be reviewed for operational, information security, employment, and other relevant legal requirements.
Team members are expected to maintain a workspace suitable for their role and communicate any circumstances that materially affect their ability to work securely and effectively.
Flexible schedules with clear commitments
We support flexibility in how team members organize their working day, within the requirements of their role.
Working hours, availability, deadlines, and any shared collaboration windows are agreed with the relevant manager or responsible team and documented as appropriate.
Some roles may require scheduled coverage for partner communications, candidate support, operational activities, or other time-sensitive responsibilities.
These requirements should be communicated clearly rather than treated as an expectation of constant availability.
Team members are expected to meet agreed commitments, communicate changes to their availability, and raise scheduling conflicts proactively.
Thoughtful communication across time zones
We prioritize clear written updates, shared documentation, and accessible records of important decisions.
Team members should be able to understand current priorities, responsibilities, and next steps without attending every conversation live.
Meetings should be used when real-time discussion adds value.
Where practical, meetings should have a clear purpose, appropriate participants, and documented outcomes.
Response expectations should reflect agreed working hours and the urgency of the request.
We encourage respectful communication across time zones and discourage unnecessary interruptions outside agreed availability windows.
Focused work and accountability
We value focused, meaningful work and encourage teams to limit unnecessary meetings and notifications.
Performance is assessed through agreed responsibilities, quality, reliability, collaboration, and delivery—not simply visible online activity.
Team members are expected to communicate progress, raise blockers early, and meet agreed working commitments.
Managers and team leads are responsible for setting realistic priorities, communicating expectations, and providing timely feedback.
Our objective is to support consistent, high-quality work without unnecessary supervision or performative online presence.
Respect for personal time
Remote work should not mean being available around the clock.
We encourage team members to take appropriate breaks, communicate planned time away, and respect colleagues' working schedules.
Out-of-hours communication should be proportionate to genuine operational needs.
Any recurring out-of-hours coverage or on-call responsibility should be agreed in advance.
Leave and other employment benefits are determined by applicable agreements, policies, and employment requirements.
Secure and responsible working
Remote work requires a consistent approach to information security and confidentiality.
Team members must use approved tools and appropriate account and device safeguards to protect company, candidate, and partner information.
Confidential information, personal data, credentials, and other protected information must not be entered into unapproved AI tools or shared through unauthorized channels.
Team members should follow applicable access controls, password and authentication requirements, and internal information-handling procedures.
Security concerns, lost devices, or suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly through the approved reporting process.
Equipment, expenses, and compensation
Equipment arrangements, reimbursable expenses, compensation, and role-specific benefits are confirmed in writing as part of the applicable working arrangement.
Purchases requiring reimbursement should receive prior approval where required.
Compensation structures may depend on the role, contractual terms, and relevant location or operational requirements.
Any location-based compensation policy should be communicated clearly when applicable.
Remote status alone does not establish a universal salary, benefits package, or reimbursement entitlement.
