About the role
micro1 is looking for VA-accredited Veterans Service Officers to help evaluate and improve AI systems on veterans benefits topics. - Write rubrics that define a correct, complete answer on service-connected disability compensation, including filing a claim and the evidence involved.
- Cover dependents and survivor benefits (such as DIC and CHAMPVA) and appeals and decision reviews in your rubrics.
- Evaluate AI-generated answers against your rubrics, flagging errors, omissions, and outdated guidance.
- Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.
What you’ll bring
- Current VA accreditation (VSO representative, County Veterans Service Officer, accredited claims agent, or similar)
- 1+ years preparing and filing VA claims for veterans or their families
- Working knowledge of disability compensation, dependents and survivor benefits, and appeals
- US-based
- Able to start quickly and commit 20-30 hours/week
- Clear, precise writing
