About the role

A leading AI research organization is launching a program with heavy ChatGPT users and is seeking experts based in Japan who are willing to share their personal ChatGPT history to support model research and evaluation.

This opportunity has two phases

Phase one is a one-time, deliverable-based step: link/share your personal ChatGPT history and complete a short consent form.

Phase two: Experts who complete phase one will then be invited into phase two, which is ongoing project work on the same program.

Scope of Work

• Complete a short consent form authorizing the research organization to access your personal ChatGPT history
• Link / share your ChatGPT history following the instructions provided
• Provide the email address associated with your personal ChatGPT account (this may differ from your Mercor email)
• Self-verify that your account meets the eligibility criteria below (step-by-step instructions will be provided)

What you’ll bring

• You must meet all of the following:
• Based in Japan
• Native Japan
• Have lived and studied in Japan for at least 3–5 years
• Your ChatGPT conversations must be primarily in Japan
• A heavy ChatGPT user: 40+ conversations over the past nine months
• At least 1 saved memory on your account
• A personal ChatGPT account that is more than 3 months old
• Only personal ChatGPT accounts qualify. Work, employer, and enterprise accounts are out of scope for this program, as are any accounts holding proprietary or confidential material.

• Eligibility is confirmed by the research organization after you complete the consent form. Verification may take up to two weeks.

• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
• Please note: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
