About the role

micro1 is engaging Content Writers & Editors to contribute expertise to a customer project focused on text quality and AI evaluation.

Help train next-generation AI systems and shape how models learn, reason and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required; your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

• Assess the clarity, coherence and accuracy of written content against project standards.
• Conduct detailed writing evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continual improvement.
• Identify and annotate AI-generated content, focusing on detecting AI slop or low-quality, artificial text elements.
• Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure and tone, maintaining high-level English proficiency.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and specialists, offering actionable editorial insights.
• Contribute written analyses and recommendations to improve AI model training datasets.
• Complete assignments within project timelines with consistent, reliable deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing, editing or evaluating text-based documents.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics or a related field, or prior experience teaching English.
• Native-level English proficiency with exceptional attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to discern nuances between human and AI-generated text.
• Prior involvement in content assessments, editorial reviews or quality assurance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote engagement.
