About the role
AIxBlock is seeking native speakers for a research project collecting authentic, spontaneous code-switching conversations in specific language pairs.
Code-switching means alternating between two languages within one conversation. Participants naturally switch between their native language and English or another secondary language.
Conversations cover domains such as Banking, Healthcare and Travel. Recordings must involve two people, use dual-channel audio and contain no background noise. AI-generated voices are prohibited.
AIxBlock will contact applicants whose profiles are suitable. The rate and payment cycle will be shared when the project starts.
Scope of Work
- Have an authentic, spontaneous conversation with another person, naturally switching between the required languages.
- Record approximately 10–15 minutes per conversation using dual-channel audio.
- Record in a quiet environment without background noise or AI-generated voices.
- Discuss assigned topics in domains such as Banking, Healthcare and Travel.
- Complete all assigned recording tasks within one week.
What you’ll bring
- Be a native speaker of the primary language and fluent in English or another secondary language. Non-native speakers of the primary language are not eligible.
- Be able to speak naturally while switching between two languages.
- Participate in a two-person conversation and provide clean dual-channel audio.
- Meet the assigned language-pair and recording requirements confirmed by AIxBlock.
